We originally started as an importer and distributor of scissors, shears and fine cutlery. In 1975, the company bought See Aid Optical - which produced various optical devices, magnifiers, eyeglass repair kits, and some really ugly reading glasses.
After upgrading the design of the See Aid Optical eyeglass line and with a lot of input from Mz. Peepers (a.k.a. Terri Sammann), we introduced Peepers Reading Glasses in August of 1993. Terri was determined once she was of an age where glasses became necessary, she was going to have some fun and not a little revenge as she got older designing some colorful fun glasses she wanted to wear.
